At the 87th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled the new head-turning Grand Tourer: the Ferrari 812 Superfast. 

The 812 Superfast, presented as a successor of the F12berlinetta, promised to be both faster and lighter than its predecessor, boasting an output of 800 horsepower and weighing 60kg less, which guarantees the car a ground-breaking performance on the road. The 812 Superfast is powered by a V12 engine which, at the time of release, was one of the most potent types of non-hybrid engine ever built, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.9 seconds. Outside of its seven-speed dual clutch gearbox and the carbon-ceramic brakes ameliorating its performance on the road, the 812 Superfast is also equipped with an abundance of new amazing features which are employed to allow the vehicle to bend the space/time continuum.

Aboard the new Ferrari 812 Superfast, elegance and sportiness come together in an unparalleled way. The design finishes are incredibly refined: the trademark leather upholstery covers the interiors, including the dashboard. The dashboard is also furnished with separate displays individually dedicated to both driver and passenger. 

Ferrari 812 Superfast, a very fast Grand Tourer car thanks to its continued performance in F1, can therefore be “tamed” for everyday use: its 800 horses can be sweet or brutal based on the positioning of its magical throttle. A powerful aspirated V12 engine and a very fast gearbox at the steering wheel are the heart of a car that enjoys a continuous exchange of information between designers and planners in its aesthetics.
