The F8 Spider represents a masterclass in superior engineering, intended for those customers who like to hold the steering wheel of a supercar without sacrificing the feeling of pure freedom given by a cabriolet.

Characterised by sharp and modern lines, incredible performance and electronics that make even the most extreme driving easy, the Ferrari F8 Spider pays homage to the milestones of Ferrari history. The design recalls the elongated front headlights, the bonnet slit and rounded rear lights from the 1975 308 GTB. Meanwhile, compared to the F8 Tributo, it sacrifices the rear window slits typical of the legendary F40: the technology available, however, will make the Spider the new benchmark in the cabriolet category of the automotive world.

The F8 Spider puts on a spectacular performance: it is indeed powered by 720 HP and 770 Nm of torque thanks to the 3.9 V8 bi-turbo engine that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds, up to 340 km/h of top speed. A perfect balance, due to the expert handling of the electronics by Ferrari, especially with the famous "throttle" in the CT OFF setting which leaves the driver free to play around with the accelerator and steering wheel in counter-steering without deactivating the stability control.

Aboard the F8 Spider you can test your own limits even outside a racetrack, thanks to the Side Slip Control and the Adaptive Performance Launch, a system that acts on the slippage of the tires to optimise the torque discharged to the ground and generate the maximum grip possible. But that's not all, because now the limiter is activated when the vehicle reaches the maximum rotation speed of 8,000 rpm: going further will not be of any use, while staying under the limit ensures that the vehicle’s performance in sporty driving is optimised. Finally, the Variable Torque Management is priceless, thanks to which the torque is spread in all gears up to high revs.
